Returns acceptance terms

1. General requirements for returns acceptance

HOMA product returns can only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Returns can only be processed if you have requested a return in advance and it has been confirmed by us.
  • The purchased goods are new and in their original packaging – The sales packaging is clean and shows no damage, external labelling, stickers or similar.
  • The goods are part of the current product range
  • The product is no more than 24 months old (month/year on type plate or calculated from date of invoice)
  • The net value of the returned goods is at least €80.00
  • The return takes place at the expense and risk of the sender. Packages sent with postage unpaid will not be accepted.

2. Returns acceptance conditions and costs

  • Returns costs amount to 25 % of the invoice total for all products with a net goods value of less than €800.00, or a minimum net fee of €25.00
  • Returns acceptance costs amount to 30% of the invoice amount for all products with a net goods value of over €800.00

3. The following are excluded from return

  • Used products (device has been in use)
  • Stock clearance campaigns
  • Custom-made products of any kind, or customer-specific designs
  • Spare parts such as ball bearings, mechanical seals or spare parts kits if the protective packaging has been opened
  • Electronic components that are no longer included in the current product range

Note:
Should, in exceptional cases, non-returnable items still be returned and returning them to the sender is either impossible or economically unjustifiable, HOMA reserves the right to charge the customer separately for the disposal costs incurred.

4. Any damage

A. Damaged or soiled cardboard packaging

If the cardboard packaging or sales packaging of all or individual returned items is damaged and/or soiled, this will be deducted as follows when the return is credited:

  • Price group A: €8.90 net / unit
    (Devices from the discount groups: 120 & 420)
  • Price group B: €14.90 net / unit
    (Devices from the discount groups: 440, 450, 451, 454, 460, 530, 560, 570, 580, 590, 594, 600, 610, 614,800,805, 820, 830, 960, 970)
  • Price group C: €24.90 net / unit
    (Devices from the price groups: 480, 810, 840, 850, 860, 870)

For packaging costs for items that are not included in the above list, please contact the HOMA service department separately at service@homa-pumpen.de.

B. Other damage/missing parts

If, during inspection of the returned goods, damage to the equipment or missing parts is discovered, the HOMA service department will provide you with a cost breakdown of the additional deductions incurred.

5. Credit and processing

  • The credit will only be issued after successful inspection of the returned goods.

6. Exception

HOMA reserves the right to reject or individually evaluate returns in each case, in particular for products that are not included in the standard range or that have been returned without approval.

 

Cancellation conditions

Cancellations

Cancellations are possible under the following conditions:

  • Standard items from the current product range that are not a customer-specific product
  • Cancellation period for catalogue products - orders of standard items (catalogue products) can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery.
  • Customer-specific items and purchase items can only be cancelled with reimbursement of the expenses incurred
  • Restrictions apply to customer-specific and custom-made products. Free cancellation is not possible in the case of:
    • Customer-specific products, e.g. OEM brands
    • Custom-made products or individually configured designs, e.g.:
      • Special controls
      • Individually manufactured sumps
      • Specially designed assemblies or special parts
  • The definition of “customer-specific” includes all products that are not in stock and that are manufactured to order or adapted to customer requirements.
  • The processing fee for cancelled orders is €75.00 and will be additionally invoiced.
