BIM Data

Building Information Modeling (BIM) for pumps in building services and wastewater technology

BIM data is digital, structured product information used in 3D building models. It enables realistic planning, simulation, and coordination of technical building equipment as well as infrastructure and drainage projects.
Unlike traditional 2D drawings, BIM data contains not only pure geometry but also technical properties, performance parameters, and commercial information about a pump, for example:

◦ Delivery head
◦ Delivery volume
◦ Power consumption
◦ Motor power
◦ Connection dimensions
◦ Materials
◦ Weight
◦ Energy efficiency ratings

For planners, engineering firms, and construction companies, BIM data is now a central component of modern project management.
Precise 3D models allow HOMA pumps and lifting systems to be positioned correctly in the building or infrastructure model at an early stage.
BIM enables automatic detection of collisions with pipes, cable trays, or other systems—even before construction begins. Performance data such as delivery curves or energy requirements can also be integrated directly into calculations.

HOMA provides structured BIM data for selected products, which is compatible with all common BIM software solutions.
