Animal carcass disposal involves extreme conditions: high temperatures, high fat content and solids such as bones, plastic and fibres. The HOMA Alligator OC with its robust cutting mechanism made of chrome-alloyed hard cast iron reliably shreds and conveys these materials – even at water temperatures of up to 60 °C. For wastewater with a high fat content, a pump control system with variable suction height is recommended to prevent deposits. For corrosive wastewater, such as from the pickling phase, stainless steel pumps from the CTP, CMX and CV series are used.
