Deutsche Vereinigung für Wasserwirtschaft, Abwasser und Abfall ["The German Association for water, waste water and waste"] is a technical and scientific, professional association, which unites experts and managers in water and waste management from municipalities, universities, engineering bureaux, public authorities and companies. The DWA formulates technical standards, is involved in standardisation activities, supports research, promotes apprenticeships and further training, and provides advice within the fields of politics, science and the economy.
