Packaged submersible pump stations - SK12-20

The SK 12–20 are double-walled PE-HD pumping stations for conveying industrial and municipal wastewater, featuring a buoyancy-secured wastewater collection shaft. The shafts are manufactured in cooperation with Innovative Water Systems Ltd. (IWS). Access covers, the pipe connections, installation depths, and pumps are available in various configurations.

The pumping stations of the SK12 to SK20 series are resistant to corrosion and aging when exposed to aggressive wastewater as well as aqueous salt and alkaline solutions. They are manufactured as jointless, watertight prefabricated shafts in accordance with EN 13476, with a ring stiffness of at least SN 4, and feature smooth inner and outer surfaces.

Shaft body (PE-HD), coupling base / fittings (grey cast iron, EN-GJL-250 / ductile cast iron), access ladder (stainless steel), piping, guide tube, lifting chain (stainless steel AISI 316).

For the disposal of wastewater containing fecal matter using cutter pumps of the GRP or OC series or using channel impeller and vortex impeller pumps of the TP, VX, or MXS series.

Modular shaft system for installation depths of 2.5–6 m, consisting of:

• buoyancy-secured shaft

• stainless steel ladder with handrail and access aid

• stainless steel guide rails with brackets for chain and cable

• stainless steel discharge pipe with shut-off valve and non-return valve made of grey cast iron EN-GJL-250

• coupling base for HOMA submersible motor pumps

• two vent pipes DN 100 / Ø110

• a protective pipe for level probes made of PE with brackets

• an inlet pipe DN 160–250

• a flushing connection Storz C, 1½"

• an stee plate with 20 m earthing cable for equipotential bonding.

Main features are:

• Shaft for installation depths of 2.5–6 m with all fittings and piping for quick and cost-effective installation.

• Permanently watertight thanks to the Safety-Lock seal and the load-decoupled shaft element gasket.

• The PE-HD material used is 100% recyclable, highly resistant to mechanical damage, and designed for a service life of at least 50 years.

• Integrated access ladder in accordance with occupational safety authority requirements.

• Guide rails and coupling bases for easy installation and removal of the pumps under water.

• The number and position of pipe penetrations for inlet, discharge pipe, and cables can be freely selected.

Larger diameters as well as installation depths exceeding 6 m are also available on request. Shafts with installation depths of more than 5 m are additionally equipped with an intermediate platform or a fall protection system.
