Characteristics

Submersible pumps for chemically aggressive drainage water - Chromatic CH250 / CH260

Application

Pump for conveying chemically aggressive domestic waste water such as, for example salt water (up to 15%) from water softening plants, condensate from condensing boilers, waste water from car washing systems, swimming pool water, sea water, brackish water, silage sap and liquid manure. Keeping trenches, shafts and rooms dry. Domestic waste water disposal in industry and trade. Reduction of surface water. Emergency deployment for flooding.

Installation

Stationary or mobile. Version with float switch for use as automatic water level controlled drainage pump.

Materials

Motor housing, motor shaft, screws (Stainless steel), Strainer, outer housing, impeller, pressurised lid (Impact-resistant plastic), Elastomers (NBR).

Pumped liquid

Chemically agressive domestic waste water with solid content up to 10 mm grain size. Temperature of conveying medium: 35°C, briefly up to 60°C

Motor

Pressure watertight, medium-immersed motor. Stainless steel motor housing. Insulation class B, protection type IPX8. Thermal sensor for temperature monitoring in the winding.

Features

A cooling jacket with discharge connector at the top ensures sufficient motor cooling even at low water level (sip operation). Automatic ventilation with additional air vent screw. Removable strainer allows extraction of residual water down to 5 mm. Automatic purging device can be implemented.

Impeller

Impeller of the Chromatic CH250 / CH260 series.

For optimum adaptation to the pump medium and operating conditions.

Open multi-channel impeller

For dirty and muddy media with solids.

The network frequency is 50 Hz in the EU.
In other parts of the world, such as in the North American region, Brazil, Saudi Arabia or South Korea 60 Hz.

HOMA pumps are available for both frequency ranges. A selection of the pumps for the valid frequency range at the installation site must be made accordingly. We are happy to assist you in the selection of the right pumps.
