Characteristics

Submersible pumps for chemically aggressive drainage water - Bully CH140 / CH150 WA

Application

Disposal of domestic drainage water e.g. salt water (up to 15%) from water softening devices and brine from condensing boilers.

Installation

Permanent or transportable. Model with float switch control for automatic pump operation, depending on liquid level in the sump. Float switch fixation for continuous operation mode.

Materials

Motor housing (high quality stainless steel), Screws (stainless steel), Rotor shaft (high quality stainless steel), Pump housing, suction sieve (Glass-fibre reinforced synthetic material (composite)), Impeller (Glass-fibre reinforced synthetic material (composite)), Seal kit (NBR).

Pumped liquid

Chemicall aggressive drainage water from households containing soft solids up to 10 mm spherical clearance. Max. liquid temperature: 35°C.

Motor

Fully submersible, pressure tight electric motor. Insulation class F. Motor protection IP 68. Shaft sealing consisting of a shaft seal and SIC-mechanical seal. Thermal sensors imbedded in the motor winding. Rotor shaft and motor housing from high quality stainless steel.

Features

10 m connecting cable permits the mobile outdoor use and an immersion depth of 7 m. Cooling jacket ensures optimum motor cooling even during sip operation. Automatic air bleed valve with additional venting screw. Detachable suction sieve for low suction of residual water. Automatic flushing if required. In combination with the special float switch (accessory), a reduction of the switching height is possible.

The network frequency is 50 Hz in the EU.
In other parts of the world, such as in the North American region, Brazil, Saudi Arabia or South Korea 60 Hz.

HOMA pumps are available for both frequency ranges. A selection of the pumps for the valid frequency range at the installation site must be made accordingly. We are happy to assist you in the selection of the right pumps.
