Application

The SK 10 is a buoyancy-secured wastewater pumping station for conveying industrial and municipal wastewater. The shaft is manufactured as a modular system in cooperation with Börder GmbH. It can be equipped either for use in pressurized sewer systems with wastewater grinder pumps type HOMA Barracuda GRP series or with channel impeller or vortex impeller wastewater pumps of the HOMA TP series.

Materials

Shaft body (unfilled polypropylene), coupling base / fittings (grey cast iron, EN-GJL-250 / ductile cast iron), access ladder (GRP plastic), piping, guide tube, lifting chain (stainless steel AISI 316).

Pumped liquid

For the disposal of wastewater containing fecal matter using cutter pumps of the GRP series or using channel impeller or vortex impeller pumps of the TP series.

Collection Tank

Modular shaft system by REHAU for installation depths of 2–5 m, consisting of: a buoyancy-secured shaft made of unfilled polypropylene with two DN 150 inlet connections, two DN 100 empty conduit pipes, and a pressure connection (PE63, PE75, or PE80). High resistance to fats, oils, hydrogen sulfide, and almost all chemicals. Permanently watertight thanks to the Safety-Lock seal and the load-decoupled shaft element gasket.

Features

Main features are:

• Pumpstation for quick and cost-effective installation with fittings and piping. Installation depths from 2 to 5m.

• Permanently watertight thanks to the Safety-Lock seal and the load-decoupled shaft element gasket.

• Modular system design. Cone, shaft rings, and shaft base can be combined to suit virtually any installation situation.

• Integrated access ladder in accordance with occupational safety authority requirements.

• Guide rails and coupling bases for easy installation and removal of the pumps under water.

Additional information

Special version SU 10:

For highly aggressive media, such as silage leachate, HOMA offers the special version SU 10. It is equipped with an above-water coupling for one or two stainless steel pumps of the CH432–436 and CTP50 series made of AISI 316.

The network frequency is 50 Hz in the EU.
In other parts of the world, such as in the North American region, Brazil, Saudi Arabia or South Korea 60 Hz.

HOMA pumps are available for both frequency ranges. A selection of the pumps for the valid frequency range at the installation site must be made accordingly. We are happy to assist you in the selection of the right pumps.
