Characteristics

Tank cleaning systems - BR

Application

Stream generation: The HOMA Ejector System generates a strong horizontal stream in the tank to keep the solids floating.

Installation

Single-stage submersible pumps in close-coupled design for permanent or transportable usage.

Materials

Motor housing (Grey cast iron GG25) Pump housing (Grey cast iron GG25) Impeller (Grey cast iron GG25) Motor shaft (Stainless steel) Bolts (Stainless steel) Mechanical seal on medium side (SiC / SiC) Mechanical seal on motor side (SiC / SiC) Upper Bearing (Deep Groove Ball Bearing) Lower Bearing (Single row angular contact ball bearing) Jet pipe (Galvanized steel)

Pumped liquid

Max. medium temperature: 40 °C, short term up to 60 °C.

Motor

Electric motors, with 4-pole motor speed. Insulation class H, degree of protection IP 68. Thermal sensors embedded in the stator winding protect the motor from overheating. PTC sensors on request.

Shaft/Bearing

Large diameter stainless steel rotor shaft, pre-lubricated bearings.

Seals

Two independently working silicon-carbide mechanical seals in tandem-arrangement. Oil-filled seal chamber with possibility of control by the inspection screw.

Features

The HOMA BR system consists of a robust submersible sewage pump with non-clogging vortex impeller, which primes the water from the deepest part of the tank. Through the ejector, which is flanged on the pump discharge, the jet water will accelerate and cause air to be primed through a vertical pipe. The air-water mixture is pressed with high speed through the ejector pipe parallel to the tank bottom. The combination of jet water and air ensures an effective water movement with high jet intensity and turbulence. For the enlargement of the jet angle, HOMA supplies an optional self swing-ing ejector pipe on request.

The network frequency is 50 Hz in the EU.
In other parts of the world, such as in the North American region, Brazil, Saudi Arabia or South Korea 60 Hz.

HOMA pumps are available for both frequency ranges. A selection of the pumps for the valid frequency range at the installation site must be made accordingly. We are happy to assist you in the selection of the right pumps.
