Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS – unconditionally human
MSF is providing emergency medical aid worldwide in crisis and war zones and after natural disasters. The international organization helps fast, efficient and unbureaucratic - without asking about the origin, religion or political conviction of the people concerned.
MSF's international and national staff work in around 70 countries - doctors and nurses, midwives and logisticians. They treat ill and wounded people, take care of malnourished children or provide clean drinking water and latrines.
No help without donations
Humanitarian aid is not in vain - and MSF works only to a limited extent with state funds to help people in need, regardless of political interests. Only private donations make the emergency aid operations of MSF possible - by supporters who think across borders to people in need.
