Major construction project in Saxony

The new Elbtalstraße S 84, which will lead from Niederwartha to Meißen, will be built. It will then cross Industriestraße in the direction of Meißen. A 366 m long cable-stayed bridge will be built here, over which traffic will then roll to and from Ziegelweg.

An important component of the project is the road drainage system, to which HOMA is making a decisive contribution by supplying and installing the pumps and controls for the Niederwartha rainwater pumping station.

In addition to the road drainage, five dry-installed, floodable pumps provide reliable flood protection. At peak times, they can handle up to 600 litres per second.
